Beth Donovan is a British contemporary artist based in Wiltshire. Working primarily in painting, her practice is driven by play, experimentation and the process of making.

Rather than beginning with a fixed outcome, Beth allows work to develop through exploration. Colour, material, form and composition are tested, altered and reconsidered as each piece evolves. This process-led approach places discovery at the centre of her practice, allowing unexpected ideas and visual relationships to emerge through making.

Beth is interested in resisting the expectation that an artist’s work should conform to a single, recognisable style. Instead, she sees experimentation and change as fundamental to creative development. Her individual works can differ considerably in their visual language, but are connected by an underlying curiosity and willingness to explore.

Beth founded Tuesday & Co. in 2020 as a creative studio through which she develops and presents her work. Her current practice continues to evolve through painting, material experimentation and an ongoing process of play, development and discovery.
